Stroll through the well-kept grounds of this national park & fort and just imagine as to what life would have been like here nearly 500 years ago. There are several waterfalls along your drive in El Yunque to stop at and enjoy the splashing water coming at a very high speed. For the best rainforest experience, plan to hike through the rainforest to La Mina Falls, it’s a fairly simple trail and it’s amazingly beautiful.
