Emirates is known to be the most luxurious airlines in the world. This airlines is a subsidiary of the Emirates group and is owned by Investment Corporation of Dubai. Launched in the year 1985, the airline has expanded its operations to nearly 150 cities in 80 countries across the six continents. The largest airline of the Middle East is also the fourth largest airline by scheduled revenue passenger-kilometres flown. Emirates is the largest Airbus A380 operator and also the Boeing 777 aircrafts. The Dubai International Airport is the main hub of all the flight operations of Emirates and the headquarters are located in Garhoud, Dubai. The airlines over the years with its exceptional services has won many awards and in 2018, they were awarded the best in-flight entertainment airline for the 14th time in a row. They also have a record for the longest non-stop commercial flight in between Dubai and Auckland.
The Emirates is operating in nearly 160 destinations all over the world and covers more than 80 countries. The airlines operates nearly 3600 flights with a fleet of more than 250 aircrafts. The airlines covers nearly 22 destinations in Africa, and covering as many as 47 destinations in the Asia and the Pacific. As on January 2022, Emirates has been operating a fleet of 254 passenger aircrafts and 10 cargo aircrafts operated by Emirates Sky Cargo. Emirates is known to be the largest wide-body fleet on Earth as the airlines is using the Airbus A380 and Boeing 777 aircrafts. It’s surprising that the airlines is not having a single narrow-body aircraft in its mainline fleet since 1995. Emirates has been regularly placing orders for the bigger sized aircrafts and placed order for 40 A330-900s and 30 A350-900s and earlier in the year 2014 it finalized order of 150 Boeing 777X consisting of 35 777-8s and 115 777-9s.

Meal Options
Emirates Airlines have a personally crafted meal for every class and flight. For the economy class passengers, they have an option to choose from a menu encouraged by their destination. More often it’s a three course meal and snack, depending on the route and time taken. The menu for business class is also decided by the passenger’s destination, with a 3 course meal and snacks included.
You can easily view the menu for your flight and select the options which you can prefer from. First Class passengers have the pleasure of choosing the gourmet dishes in the sky, inspired by the region of their flight.
The Airlines includes the following in three course meal is an appetizer, main course, side dish with freshly baked bread, a cheese board and a dessert. The Emirates First Class passengers can order food to their private suite, or visit the on-board lounge to trial canapés and drinks.
Special Dietary Requirements
Most of the meals served on the airlines are Halal. If you are having food allergies, then contact airline customer service before departure to arrange substitute meal, or speak to the crew on board to find out more info about allergens and nutrients. If you wish to book a special meal such as vegan and vegetarian or to suit medical, religious or dietary requirements must book or request your meal at least 24 hours prior to your flight.
Drinks & Alcohol
Emirates Airlines offers a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks that comprises of spirits, cocktails, mock tails, best wines, beers and also soft drinks, juices and hot drinks. For economy Class passengers, they are provided complimentary soft drinks, teas and coffee, with alcoholic beverages accessible to purchase.
Business Class and First Class passengers are given complimentary champagne, wine, spirits, beer and soft drinks which are served with their meal, with extra drinks available to order to their suite or at the on board lounge.

Carry-on Baggage
Passengers travelling in First or Business class are permitted two items of carry-on baggage; one briefcase (max 18 x 14 x 8 inches) plus either a handbag (max 22 x 15 x 8 inches) or garment bag (max 8 inches thick when folded). The weight of any item must not exceed 7kg.
Economy class passengers are permitted one item of carry-on baggage, which must not exceed 55 x 38 x 20cm, and not exceed 7kg in weight.
Checked Baggage
The airline has a baggage allowance calculator where passengers can enter their itinerary and travel class to find out the precise allowance of their flight.
For Flights to all destinations except Canada, North America and South America:-
• Economy passengers with a ‘Special’ ticket are granted 20kg of checked luggage. Economy passengers with a ‘Saver’ or ‘Flex’ ticket are permitted 30kg of checked luggage, and passengers with a ‘Flex Plus’ ticket are allowed 35kg of checked luggage.
• Business class passengers are allowed 40kg of checked luggage.
• First class passengers are allowed 50kg of checked luggage.
Passengers can check in as many pieces of baggage they like, but no single item should exceed 32kg. In addition, the size of every bag must not go beyond a combined dimension of 118 inches (length x width x height). For Flights to/from Canada, North America and South America, and flights from Africa, passengers in economy class can check in 2 x 23 kg bags, and passengers in first or business class can check in 2 x 32 kg bags.

Airport Check-In
